To increase our students’ progress in every neighborhood, Issue 49 will –

Improve discipline, safety and security in and around every school facility

Keep vital mental health, student, and family support services

Strengthen science, technology, mathematics, business, communications and arts programs

Have the quality teaching staff and educational aides Cleveland’s students need

Ensure that CMSD facilities are well-maintained and equipped to provide educational results

Graduate students ready for jobs, college and careers in fast-growing, good-paying fields

Investing in education

is hard, but the choice is clear. With Issue 49, students keep programs they desperately need; without the issue, huge and harmful cuts to education must be made.

CMSD is cutting costs

to keep yours as low as possible – $3.73 a week on levy for a median Cleveland home property and no increase for the bond issue extension. The levy is based on old home values, not the reappraisal. Businesses pay more than half of the total, homeowners less than half.
